How does Treeman Projective work?
Treeman is a Projective technique that elicits the emotions and feelings of participants on a particular topic. It is mainly a single-choice question and all the options add up to 100%. An open ended question is then asked to comment why they feel that way.

How the data is analyzed and visualized for Treeman Projective

The results (in percentage bar chart) can be arranged in descending or ascending order.
In this example, participants are asked "There have been a lot of opinions given and a lot of speculation about the impact Generative AI, such as ChatGPT and now GPT-4, will have on market researchers’ roles. Thinking about the impact that Generative AI could have on your role, how do you feel? Which of these characters best illustrates how you feel?"
In this case, the majority, or 27% of the participants say they are optimistic. Users can also view the follow-up verbatim response (reason for their choice) by clicking each option.
