Can survey participants go back to answering an unfinished survey?

Modified on Fri, 28 Jun, 2024 at 1:39 AM

In the case that a participant shuts their computer or their wifi disconnects when answering the survey, then it will be seen as disconnecting from the session and will be considered a dropout but they can come back at anytime to resume the survey even if they close.  A participant could pick up the Inca survey where they left off at any time within a month, even if they log out or shut down their laptop or mobile.

As long as participants do not access the link in an incognito/private tab which does not store sessions or wipe their device local storage, they should be able to return to the survey on that same device.
